🌿 Bioactive Starter Cup

Each spider is supplied with a ready-to-use bioactive starter cup containing suitable substrate, moss, a live plant and a hide.

The naturalistic setup gives your spider plenty of opportunities to climb, explore and create its own preferred retreats.

The live plant and moss also help create a more natural micro-environment within the enclosure.

As your spider grows, it will eventually require a larger enclosure. The starter cup is intended to provide an appropriate initial home for your baby rather than a permanent enclosure.

🦗 Feeding & Care

Hyllus diardi should be provided with appropriately sized live food according to the size of the spider. Suitable feeders may include fruit flies and other appropriately sized feeder insects.

Jumping spiders also require access to moisture for drinking. Lightly misting part of the enclosure provides drinking opportunities while allowing the enclosure to dry between mistings.

Avoid keeping the enclosure constantly wet or waterlogged. Good ventilation is important for maintaining a healthy environment.
